I have always been a fan of the work of Amy Atlas.  I follow her blog to see what she is working on next.  Today, she is featuring a faux-bois pattern dessert table in time for the fall season.  Here are the details:

“For desserts, we made two almond fondant cakes and placed them on tree trunk cake stands. We also created pistachio cinnamon meringue and tuiles filled with spiced-apple custard. We wrapped hazelnut truffles with custom faux-bois tissue paper.”
